National Business Immigration Attorney
Carolina Regales has accepted the new role of National Business Immigration Attorney. In this capacity Carolina will oversee business immigration cases firm-wide.
Throughout her childhood, Carolina was always taught to aspire for the best. Being from a developing country, she recognized that there were many limitations and challenges to reach her definition of success. She knew the U.S. as the country were opportunities exist for anyone who wanted to pursue them; however, she gave up her dream of a full scholarship to study in Florida State University to stay by her parent’s side while her father battled cancer. With her father’s passing three years later, her world and life changed drastically, with her mother and sisters all moving or living in the U.S. she finished her Panamanian law degree that year and suddenly all doors started opening for her to immigrate to the U.S.
Carolina was accepted at Stetson College of Law, where she completed her Master in International Law and where she was an hour away from her family. During her studies, she did an internship at Maney, Gordon and Zeller (back then Maney & Gordon) where she later was hired first as Legal Assistant and given the most sought out opportunity of all: her legal permanent residence in the U.S. Then, she became a licensed attorney and began work as an immigration attorney hoping to assist others with their dreams of a better life and future in this country of opportunities. She is very passionate and zealous about doing her job right. She knows first-hand the emotions, nerves, and worries of the immigration process; therefore, she gives it her best to make the process as smooth as possible for other immigrants.
Regarding her credentials, she obtained her Bachelor’s in Law and Political Sciences in Panama, completing a four year degree in three years and graduating as Summa Cum Laude with a perfect G.P.A. as the valedictorian of the entire university (Universidad Catolica Santa Maria La Antigua de Panama). She started her LL.M. in International Law in Stetson College of Law on August 2007. She graduated on May 2008 with High Honors, top of her LL.M class, and as Magna Cum Laude. She is NY barred as of May 2011, and DC barred as of March 2017.
