Dionnie Wynter Pfunde
Dionnie likes to think that she chose this practice area; however, Immigration Law chose her. She started practicing immigration law long before she became a lawyer. When she immigrated to New York City from the island of Jamaica, she immediately began assisting her mother and her friends in completing their immigration documents. That is where she fell in love with this practice area. She knew back then when sitting at her mother’s dining table in the Bronx, New York, this was what she was born to do.
She has a diversified background. She worked in administration for a number of years, while maintaining her own practice. Prior to joining MGZ, she was the owner and Managing Attorney of Wynter Law Practice, where she specialized in immigration law. She had the unique opportunity in representing clients all over the continental United States, the Caribbean, and Europe. She was able to not only travel the world, but to also create lasting relationships with families that she has represented for years. She also dabbled as a lecturer in Immigration Law, Criminal Law, and Business Law at various institutions in the states of Michigan and Florida. Certainly her passion for helping and encouraging others has remained consistent.
She is licensed to practice law in the states of Michigan and New Jersey. She is also admitted to the Western District of Michigan and the District of New Jersey.
Most notably, she became a member of the United States Supreme Court.
She is (was) an avid runner. She completed 7 full marathons and numerous half marathons including, the Berlin Marathon, Marathon De Paris, and the New York City Marathon.
As to her MGZ Story: MGZ is one of Florida’s pre-eminent Immigration Law firms, this among other practice areas. Dionnie says that MGZ is the perfect match for her as she gets the opportunity to hone her skills under the umbrella of one of the finest law firms in Tampa Bay.
