Today, at 11:00AM the U.S. Department of Justice announced that the President has rescinded the DACA program, with a six-months delay. What does this mean?
- If you have DACA status you will retain this status until it expires.
- If you have a DACA extension application pending, the Department of Homeland Security will continue processing your application.
- If your DACA status is set to expire between today, September 5, 2017, and March 5, 2018, you may apply for a DACA extension, as long as you file the extension on or before October 5, 2017.
