Paul V. Suppicich is an immigration attorney at Maney | Gordon | Zeller, P.A. For more than fifteen years, he has practiced law in the areas of U.S. Immigration & Naturalization and General Civil Litigation, primarily handling waivers of inadmissibility, juvenile dependency cases, family lawful permanent resident (green card) petitions, U.S. citizenship applications, removal (deportation) defense cases, employment and investment visas.
Paul earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2005 from Stetson University College of Law in Pinellas County, where the student body elected him to serve as their Student Bar Association President; he has been a member of the Florida Bar Association since 2006 and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association as well as the Hillsborough County Bar Association. Paul is admitted to practice law by the Florida Supreme Court and appears primarily before the United States Citizenship & Immigration Service (USCIS), Florida’s 13th Judicial Circuit Court, Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR).
Paul’s trial experience includes removal (deportation) defense, landlord/tenant disputes, general civil trials and local government enforcement. He received his Master of Arts degree in Applied Linguistics in 1996 and his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Education in 1993, both from the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa.
Paul speaks Portuguese, Spanish and English having lived, studied and taught in Brazil, Costa Rica and Spain.
Paul has served as an adjunct professor for USF, Eckerd College, St. Petersburg College, Florida Southern College and Tallahassee Community College teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages as well as College Writing, which he has also done overseas in Brazil and in Costa Rica. He serves on the Boards of Directors of the Tampa-Hillsborough Friends of the Library Council and is Past-President of the Board of the Hillsborough Literacy Council. Paul is also a Board member of the Rotary Club of New Tampa and active member of the Tampa Bay Chapter of InterNations.
